Summary
Measurement and advertising cookies are enabled by default until you make a choice; you may reject them. When you click “Reject”, all of them are switched off, the measurement and advertising cookies on your device are deleted and are no longer set, and your choice is remembered for 12 months. If you reject, the site continues to work fully. You can change your preferences at any time:
Strictly necessary cookies
These are required to run the site and to remember the choices you make; they cannot be turned off.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
nv_consent | Records your cookie preference (Accept, Reject or a choice per category) | 12 months |
nv_cart | Your cart | 30 days |
nv_customer | Member sign-in session (if you are signed in) | 30 days |
nv_chat | Continuation of the live support chat (if you started a chat) | 30 days |
nv_sayma | Records your “Do not measure this browser” objection (if you objected) | 2 years |
nv_admin | Admin panel session (Nuvelle staff only) | 7 days |
nv_ref | Remembers the invitation code if you arrived via an invitation link (for the invitation discount and the inviter's reward); written only when an invitation link is used | 30 days |
nv_popup_seen_* (browser storage) | Records that you have seen a campaign pop-up so that it does not open again | until deleted |
When an invitation link is clicked, the time of the click, the invitation code and the IP address are recorded on our server for invitation statistics and to prevent abuse.
Cookies enabled by default (you may reject them)
Analytics
To measure in detail how the site is used. Enabled by default; if you click “Reject” or switch off “Analytics” in the preferences panel, they are not set and are deleted.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga, _ga_* | Google (Google Analytics 4, via Google Tag Manager) | Measuring visits and page usage | 2 years |
nv_sid | Nuvelle (first party, read by the server only) | Unique-visitor count in the on-site traffic dashboard — a random identifier, not combined with any other data | 13 months |
nv_purchase_* (browser storage) | Nuvelle | Preventing the same purchase from being measured twice (unless you have switched off both analytics and marketing) | until deleted |
Marketing
To measure whether ads are effective and for remarketing (showing you relevant advertising). Enabled by default; if you click “Reject” or switch off “Marketing” in the preferences panel, they are not set and are deleted.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_gcl_aw, _gcl_au | Google (Google Ads) | Matching an ad click to a sale (conversion measurement) | 90 days |
_fbp, _fbc | Meta (Facebook / Instagram Pixel) | Measuring Meta ads and remarketing | 90 days |
If you have rejected marketing, the Meta Pixel script is not loaded at all. The site does not use Hotjar, TikTok or any similar measurement tool. We also do not use a functional/personalisation cookie category; Google's corresponding signals follow your “Analytics” setting.
Google tags and your choice (Consent Mode)
We use Google Consent Mode v2. Until you make a choice, Google tags are informed that measurement and advertising are permitted by default. When you click “Reject” (or switch off a category in the preferences panel), this status is updated to “denied”: Google tags then neither write nor read cookies and send only an anonymous signal (page, time, browser type, consent status), which Google uses for aggregate modelling without identifying you. Google and Meta cookies previously set are deleted from your browser.
When your order is completed, the order number, amount and currency are reported to Google tags as a sale. The copy of the sale sent from our server to Google Analytics is sent unless you had rejected analytics cookies at the time of the order. Your name, address, email, phone number and card details are never sent to Google or Meta (“enhanced conversions” with hashed email/phone are not used). Sale information is sent to Meta unless you have rejected marketing cookies. Regardless of your cookie preference, your order is recorded for order management.
On-site traffic count
From the request your browser already sends to open a page, our server records the following in our own database: the page opened, the time, the device class (mobile / tablet / desktop), the language, the domain of the site you came from and, if the link carries an ad or campaign marker, its type (e.g. “Google ad”, “email campaign”).
Your IP address and browser identifier are not stored, and this record does not identify you and is not combined with other data. The ad-click ID itself (e.g. gclid) is never written to this record. It is used only for aggregate statistics and is not disclosed to third parties. The retention period is 25 months.
Unless you have rejected analytics cookies, the nv_sid cookie (a random identifier, 13 months) is set for the unique-visitor count. If you have rejected them, this cookie is deleted, nothing is written to your device and your visit is counted only anonymously. Visits by search engine and AI bots, link previews and our own staff are not counted.
If you wish to be excluded from this measurement: Do not measure this browser — clicking it writes the nv_sayma cookie, and no record is kept from that browser.
Transfers abroad
Google (USA) and Meta (USA) cookies, and the data collected through them, are transferred to these providers unless you have rejected the relevant category; once you reject, the transfer stops. Legal basis: legitimate interest together with your right to choose (reject); the transfer abroad is carried out within the framework of KVKK Art. 9 and, for visits from the EU, under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. On-site traffic data is kept on our server with our hosting provider in Germany (Frankfurt, European Union), accessible only to us, and is not shared with third parties.
Rejecting and changing your choice
You may reject measurement and advertising cookies in three ways: the “Reject” button in the banner; the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of the page or the button at the top of this page (the preferences panel shows the current status and lets you switch Analytics and Marketing off separately); and, for the on-site traffic count, Do not measure this browser. When you reject, the relevant cookies are deleted, the page reloads and the switched-off tools are no longer loaded; nv_sid is deleted. Your choice is stored for 12 months; if you clear your browser's cookies, we will ask again. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings; if strictly necessary cookies are blocked, the cart and member sign-in will not work.
Your rights and contact
Under KVKK Art. 11 and, for visits from the EU, GDPR Arts. 15–22, you have the right to access your data, to request its rectification or erasure, to object to its processing and to lodge a complaint (in Türkiye with the Personal Data Protection Board; in the EU with the competent supervisory authority). To apply: fatih@nuvelle.com.tr. For details on how personal data is processed: Privacy, Security & KVKK.
